HiTech AlkCarb expedition Mongolia 2017
In September 2017, we joined scientists from around the world on an expedition to southern Mongolia to survey with our GPR as part of the HiTech AlkCarb project, which is developing new geomodels and sustainable exploration methods for critical resources in alkaline igneous rocks and carbonatites.
Below is a video sample of the results from the measurements at one of the most interesting and best mapped research sites. The radargrams are placed on a geological map that was created on the basis of previous surveys. Thanks to GPR results, we can see clear material transitions and their extent below the surface.

"The Czechs also worked in Mongolia, where they found six promising jobs. This is thanks to new approaches, but also to GPRs developed by the Czech company RTGPR. "We are able to look deeper than we used to, even though some people in the industry don't believe us," says Rudolf Tengler Jr., whose father has improved the GPR."
